This is far too much material for an intruduction! An intruduction should intruduce, not deminstrate.

This needs just a short paragraph as an intruduction.

@pearcej, the way this section is laid out, from my understanding, is that it introduces the numeric and then builds on it.

I was reading the error and pretext, and the reason this building warning came up was that this section of text was not wrapped in anything.
The solutions were either to wrap this whole block in an introduction or to make it a subsection.

How do you think I should proceed?

Please make a very short introduction, or even an empty introduction instead. There are many problems with putting so many lines into an introduction that you cannot see without using a full Runestone build. If you are using only a lightweight Pretext build, you will not see them.
